01 Welding Scenario Application
Under the current trend of multi-model mixed-line production in the automotive industry, the waste of production capacity caused by the low efficiency of traditional production line switching has become a key bottleneck restricting the construction of digital factories. For example, in the welding process, traditional tool replacement and energy switching rely on manual labor, with cumbersome and time-consuming processes.
The Qiaotian Quick Change Plate consists of a main body, standard modules, and customized modules, enabling communication for grippers, welding guns, riveting guns, tightening guns, and vision cameras. It uses pneumatic quick switching, eliminating the need for bolt disassembly. Tool change time is reduced to approximately 10 seconds (efficiency improvement exceeding 99% compared to traditional methods).
During the case sharing session, Engineer Yin provided a detailed analysis of the application breakthroughs of Qiaotian Quick Change Plates in complex scenarios: "In a certain customer's prototype vehicle trial production project, we faced four core challenges: completing the total assembly of the white body and multi-type connection processes within limited workstations with fewer than 4 robots; a single workstation needed to switch 4 types of end-effectors at high frequency; simultaneously compatible with cold connection (riveting) and hot connection (welding) processes; and at the same time requiring the quick change plate to integrate the function of weld spot quality inspection." In the face of this complex requirement, Qiaotian achieved the project implementation through a combination of high-frequency load technology support, multi-process coupling design, and intelligent signal transmission system.
